Le musée des Beaux-Arts a le grand plaisir d’accueillir la grande artiste française Tania Mouraud. Née à Paris en 1942, l’artiste développe depuis la fin des années 1960 une œuvre engagée et protéiforme, à la croisée de la peinture, de l’installation, de la photographie, de la vidéo, du son et de la performance. Les 5 œuvres présentées dans Glissando, pensées autour des proverbes yiddish, se répondent pour écrire la partition d’un chant de révolte. Face aux violences qui marquent actuellement le monde, Tania Mouraud nous rappelle que nous pouvons toujours tirer des leçons du passé et qu’il nous appartient d’écrire les prochains chapitres de notre Histoire commune.
Comme une lente transition musicale, l'exposition relie l'intime au collectif et nous appelle à briser le silence, jusqu’à faire retentir si nécessaire un vacarme à réveiller les mort.e.s.
